Janelle's Jewels

JANELLE: Choreographer Janelle began her dancing career at the young age of two, studying jazz, tap and ballet. She brings over 20 years of instruction and choreography throughout California and Arizona both as a troupe choreographer, troupe lead and solo artist.

Janelle’s inspiration and musical choreography embraces the dance of Egypt, Syria, Lebanon Persia and Greece inspiring traditional and cabaret styles as well as in depth Polynesian techniques.

Performances have included Fox Studies Hollywood, Armstrong Theatre Torrance, and performing at the Inglewood playhouse in Lulu's Place. Janelle performs regularly to live music at the Sheraton San Pedro belly dance review.

Janelle’s long tenure as an instructor of advanced belly dance with the Torrance Cultural Arts Center and Torrance Unified School district and currently teaches private and advanced study as well as director of her performing troupe, Janelle’s Jewels.
