Lizet Madeira teaches classes in El Segundo, near LAX , California, in American Tribal Style Belly Dance (ATS) and is ATS Certified from Carolena Nericcio, the Director of Fat Chance Belly Dance.

Tribal Belly Dance is as much a dance style as it is a language. It combines Ehtnic Tribal, Middle Eastern and East Indian dance. In ATS the leader gives a cue to let the other dancers know what the next move will be. The beauty of this dance is not only that it is fabulous exercise, but also you will have the ability to dance in harmony with people you have never met who speak/dance the same language.

Classes will focus on teaching basic tribal belly dance moves including the flexibility and muscle control needed to perform them. Lizet believes in executing the moves properly, dancing to the best of your ability, but most of all, in having a lot of fun. Lizet has 10 years belly dance experience in ATS, Tribal Fusion and Cabaret. She has been performing at festivals, drum circles, charity events, farmers markets and private functions.
