Mariah, aka Mary Griffith, E-RYT

 Mariah started bellydancing in 1981. Her primarily Egyptian Style has been described as graceful and dynamic. Keeping high standards as a performer and instructor provided many opportunities to sustain a belly dance career. Her vast experience provides insight to teach yoga focusing on issues specific to belly dancers such as low back pain, balance, stage fright, focus and confidence.

As a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance, she encourages balance, flexibility and strength for the body, mind and spirit.

Mariah is featured in the 2000 Video "Yoga and the Art of Belly Dance Vol. 1" with Sohaila International Promotions and Video-Technics Productions.

A member of SAMEDA and MECDA she contributes articles, reviews and poems for The Papyrus and Cymbal.
